Kwok Yuen

After more than 500 Years of BodhiDharma's Influences of The 18 Hands Of Lo-Han and The Zen / Chan Philosophy Of Buddhism, the Shaolin Temple had, in the Year 1589, another Sage Monk named Kwok Yuen, Appear and Introduce an Expansion of the 18 Exercises to 72 Exercises.

To Develop the Exercises, Kwok Yuen disguised himself as an Aged Man, so that one would easily perceive him as an Elder Man, too "Old" to be a Threat to any Deeply Skilled Martial Artist or Warrior. He did this so that he may continue to Travel and Wander the Land with his Will Determined to Find more Masters of The Martial Arts, with the Aspiring Hope to Persuade each one of them to Return to The Shaolin Temple with him, in Order to Teach and Expand the Deeper Methodologies Of The Exercises. Impassioned with the Thirst for Spiritual Growth and Divine Understandings, Kwok Yuen fulfilled his Tasks and Introduced The New Masters to the Monks at the Shaolin Temple Monastery Upon their Return. These Ancient Teachers who Followed The Wisdom Of The Buddha, Who Mastered their Own Minds and Wills, Developed The Depth Perception Of The Zen / Chan Religious Life, and though their Bodies were Worn from The Elements Of The Forces Of Nature, they were Strengthened by their Daily Exercises and Religious Practices, and their Spirits were Humbled by The Great Divide Between Life and Death, that they were able to Expand the Dimensions of the Movements and Expressions of The Shaolin Kung-Fu to the Number of 170 Exercises.

These were then Classified into the "Five Animals Fist" System of The Martial Arts, so that Martial Artists all over the Land may have a Uniting Force to Be a Point of Reference Within the Field Of Study, so that Beginners and Masters alike could Bond on this Deeply Revered Expression Of Divine Tribute To The Supreme Ultimate Buddha through these Colorful Outbursts Of The Soul.

   Kung-Fu Forever.
